While H.R. Giger's work in film may be known by most as simply "the guy who made the alien from Alien" he's done art for several other (blog post) features. Notably, the new species (blog post) from Species. Of course, a movie doesn't come down to simply how nifty the creatures in it look... so does the rest of the film do the man's legacy (blog) justice?
